Common Name: Tea rose ‘Mutabilis’
Habit: Bushy, can grow up to 3 m tall.
Leaves: Pinnately compound leaves are evergreen, starting as bronzy-purple and turning to a darker green.
Flowers and Fruit: Flowers with 5 petals borne on tips of branches begin as apricot-yellow and age to pink. Recurrent blooming all summer until December, or until first frost.
Water Use, Soil: Fertile, humus-rich, moist, well-drained soil
Exposure: Full sun
Landscape Uses: Good for sunny borders or can be grown as a small climber against a wall or fence.
Limitations: Die-back occurs in cold snaps.
